Joanne Spence, a social worker, yoga instructor, and therapist defines trauma as anything that happens to us that overwhelms our current ability to cope. And given that definition, all of us have some experience with trauma. This week she sits down with me to talk about trauma- informed yoga. This conversation deepened my love for yoga and I was already sold. It also deepened my love for Joanne and her compassionate expertise. I think you will love her too.
